This position involves significant project management and ownership, financial analysis of various kinds, and extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Activities include building valuation and other financial models, preparing presentations for internal and external uses, managing and conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligence, helping in the preparation and negotiation of certain legal documents, help identify and review target acquisitions, and implementing most phases of corporate transactions.

You are:

  • Comfortable with proactively and effectivelyengage with peers and business unit experts (i.e. Treasury, Tax, Legal,Accounting, HR) up through C-Level executives

You will:

  • Directly support the execution of acquisitions,divestitures and select other strategic projects worldwide, and you will beable to demonstrate skills including financial acumen, leadership,determination, project management and teamwork

  • Collaborate and serve as day-to-day projectmanager with Director or VP of Corporate Development on all phases of corporateM&A transactions worldwide

  • Support strong communication and relationshipswith colleagues from across the organizations, as well as external groups suchas bankers and consultants, and managing the timely execution of numerousdeadlines and milestones

  • Deliver analytically rigorous and data-driveninsights and presentations that help Pitney Bowes make the right decisions theright way

Your background:

As a Manager, Corporate Development, you have:

  • At least 2 years of corporate development, investmentbanking, corporate finance or other relevant experience

  • Excellent financial modeling, problem solvingand project management skills along with a commitment to and mastery of highstandards of accuracy, precision and organization

  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving and busyteam environment, the ability to influence others, and well-developed oral andwritten communication skills (including an ability to listen and to articulatecomplex concepts in a manner that is audience-appropriate)

  • Strong business acumen with the ability toconnect the dots between business strategy/initiatives, operational plans,legal principles and financial performance

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, particularlyPowerPoint and Excel

Preferred qualifications:

MBA, preferably with a concentration in finance or accounting (or an MBA with an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting)
