Passionate about developing and executing marketing plans targeted at Small and Medium Businesses. In this role you will be managing the growth of a portfolio of both online applications and supporting devices. You thrive on the innovative thinking it takes to market SaaS applications and can apply that to hardware as well. The SendPro C Series, launched in September 2017 is the next generation of Office Sending Solutions from Pitney Bowes. It is a smart, modern device that lets you print stamps and postage for mail, overnights and packages with USPS, UPS, and other major carriers. Coupled with an online application you can print from the device or remotely online.
With its open architecture and design system the SendPro C series along with the entire SendPro family will continue to grow in functionality that provides value to our clients across North America and International Markets.
Develop 3-year strategic and 1-year operational marketing plans that drives awareness and demand in the marketplace
Launch and expand SendPro C series across international markets leveraging best practices and working closely with product management and country leadership.
Provide subject matter expertise to enable sales, external communications, thought leadership and client references and case studies. Speak at internal and external industry events
Manage Product Marketing program budget and forecast
Develop positioning, messaging and segmentation, working closely with Product Management and Sales
Develop market insights, including competitive analysis, working closely with the Market Intelligence team
Drive activation and usage strategy, working closely with Product Management and Transactional Marketing to develop the optimal nurture streams that drive activity and engagement with the client.
Collaborate closely with matrixed marketing organization (web, digital, demand gen, social) on the execution of the Marketing plan
Leverage social media to support influencer and thought leader position; actively participate in corporate social media channels.
As a Director, Product Marketing, you have:
10 years marketing & communications experience with at least 3 years working with online applications / SaaS.
Must be a knowledge expert in best practices to market and retain users on these applications, working with both freemium and paid models.
Must have experienced marketing to SMB / SOHO clients.
Must be an outstanding communicator both internally and in front of an audience, with know-how to leverage social and other communications channels to connect with customers; able to tell the value story through the voice of the customer with proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and to influence teams.
Ability to work in a matrix environment partnering with product management and marketing disciplines is essential to success in this position
Ability to interact with Executives and effectively influence strategic planning, yet be ambidextrous and display ability to transition between strategic planning and tactical execution
