You are:

A driven Leader who can lead strategic sourcing initiatives and cross functional teams demonstrating an understanding of project management methodologies that deliver cost savings and stakeholder satisfaction.

You will:

  • Develop logistics category procurement strategies (LTL, FTL, Freight forwarding, Small Parcel, domestic and international) based on operational needs and market trends.

  • Work and build relationships with internal stakeholders and logistics suppliers.

  • Build and present business cases, RFP results and recommendations to executive level management.

  • Negotiate complex Logistics contracts while displaying knowledge of contract law and trade compliance regulations.

  • Data-driven analysis that address and balance cost with service level requirements (within a business unit and across multiple business units)

  • Domestic / International Travel Required

Your Background:

As a Logistics Procurement Manager, you have:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience working both in procurement of transportation logistics management services and the logistics industry and/or logistics operational management experience including transportation (LTL, FTL, Freight forwarding, Small Parcel, domestic and cross border), fulfillment, and brokerage operations.

  • Intimate knowledge of best-in-class procurement procedures and policies as well as best in class logistics services; e-tools, processes and systems

  • Excellent interpersonal, communications (verbal, written, email) and presentation (verbal and deck development) skills; prefer experience in presenting to senior leaders.

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • High degree of financial and problem solving ability


Bachelor's degree or MBA in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
