You are:

A pragmatic visionary who can translate business into innovative, scalable technology solutions to help drive the future direction of Pitney Bowes Fulfillment solutions and services. You will be responsible for driving quality and enabling technical innovation for our Fulfillment business. You are expected to recruit top talent and manage evolving / complex demands, including handling multiple projects with dependencies on other internal teams. You will set and deliver on aggressive goals for adoption, operational performance, feature delivery, and driving revenue opportunities.

You will interface extensively with the Executive Management Team and will direct Product Management activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. You will manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place through the identification of customer needs, customer feedback, customer usage, operational data, market research, and competitive/market trends. You will act as a technical advisor for specific product(s); will initiate and foster relationships with Technology, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and other groups to develop new products and/or enhance functionality of existing product(s) and/or product line(s); and will ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

You will

  • Be responsible for a softwareproduct portfolio that includes a proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS),Order Management System (OMS), Shipping Management System, LaborManagement System (LMS), and a resolution and reporting webapplication.

  • Leads the Product team inidentifying new product opportunities across the Fulfillment Business

  • Determines strategic product linedecisions by evaluating competitors' products and market trends

  • Interacts with customers, prospects,and client user groups to gather product requirements for new services andenhancements to existing products

  • Provides a clear vision andcompelling leadership to all product stakeholders on product strategiesand solutions to business problems

  • Translates strategic productdirection into clear product objectives and roadmaps

  • Develops product segmentation andpositioning strategies

  • Develops product management plans bypreparing business cases, product strategy definition, profit/lossprojections, and market requirement documents

  • Performs priority and impactanalysis for product development and enhancement initiatives

  • Researches, evaluates and recommendsproduct packaging/bundling/pricing alternatives and third-partypartnerships to Executive team

  • Manages and improves processes bychampioning process improvement initiatives within or across applicablebusiness units and within Product Management

  • Seeks and follows through onopportunities to improve inter-team relationships and understanding

  • Acts as a Product Managementrepresentative to key customers by providing thought leadership onsolutions to business problems

  • Act as the subject matter expert forproduct documentation and training

  • Communicate retail planning productstrategies and direction in a compelling manner

  • Cares for and develops key customerand industry relationships by conducting customer and prospect needsresearch and maintaining key industry contacts

Your background:

As a Product Management Director , you have:

  • 5 years’ experience working with Fulfillment and Logisticsproducts required

  • 1-3 years’ experience working with Retail Commerce Platforms/Solutionspreferred

  • 7 years of progressive experience in technology Product Management

  • Demonstrates superior leadership skills that driveorganization toward the achievement of consistently high performancestandards in strategic planning and Product Management.

  • Provides strong thought leadership in the area of Ecommerceand communicates effectively with internal and external executives andclients.

  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to embrace and maximizea changing landscape

  • Excels in an innovative and collaborative environment.

  • Extensive process knowledge, planning abilities, problemsolving, and organizational skills.

  • Builds strong interpersonal relationships and motivates crossfunctional teams to operate in a cohesive manner.

  • Quantitative expertise in conducting business analysis,utilizing economics, financial statements, and statistics.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Supply Chain with MBA preferred
