In this role, you’ll join our Pre-Sort team and report to the Regional Sales Manager. You will be responsible for: • Ensures thorough understanding of customer’s business processes, issues and requirements. • Contacts targeted prospects, identifies and interviews all individuals involved in decision making processes, and prepares price proposals in conjunction with Operating Center Management and the Executive Management team. Thoroughly explains functions performed by Presort Services Group and the advantages of our Parcel offerings • Prepares and conducts presentations providing customized solutions, resolution of issues and solidifying partnership. • Develops and maintains relationships with relevant industry influencers, i.e., associations and consultants that will benefit account strategies. • In conjunction with local operations management and customer service representatives, develops and maintains relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and assistance. Schedules quarterly customer meetings to provide historical account information, discuss customer issues, and determine further business opportunities. • Identifies and implements PBI cross-selling opportunities within targeted accounts in conjunction with the VP of Business Development and strategy • Represents Presort Services parcel offerings at trade shows or other promotional opportunities. Performs other duties and assigned or needed.


• A proven track record of high sales achievement. • Minimum of 8 years of “outside/commissioned” sales in the Parcel space • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the parcel ecommerce retail sales vertical • High level of verbal and written communication skills to respond to customer needs, prepare presentations and provide excellent customer service. Requires strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with customers and their representatives at various levels or positions. • Advanced team leadership, strong presentation, negotiating and influencing skills, excellent planning, organization and communication skills, combined with a mature and professional attitude. • A proven track record in developing significant customer relationships with focus at the executive level. • Must demonstrate tenacity and flexibility in customer interaction. Ability to negotiate and maintain required position, as well as compromise and adapt when needed. Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up are critical. • Polished interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management and acumen along with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. • Excellent computer skills, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to sell services and manage the sales process with large enterprise accounts. • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with minimal notification.

The Team

Our Presort Services team is a national outsource provider of mail presort services for first-class and standard-class mail in the U.S. and a workshare partner of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Our Presort Services network provides mailers with end-to-end solutions from pick up at their location to delivery into the postal system. Through our network of 33 U.S. locations, and with our fully customized proprietary technology, we process approximately 15 billion pieces of mail annually and are able to expedite delivery and optimize postage savings for our clients.
