The Pitney Bowes Treasury organization provides an excellent opportunity for finance candidates seeking a position in a fast-paced, hands-on Treasury program with the potential to excel in a dynamic and challenging environment. Build. Deploy.Bridge.Grow* You will be responsible for:

• Operations: Oversee the preparation of the daily cash position for the US and Canada. Support key global operations including global banking structures optimization, cash pooling, intercompany loans and cash forecasting. Bank Relationships and evaluation and negotiation of bank fees. Provide daily support on wire payments. • Evaluation of local and global cash management strategy and processes, including the preparation and distribution of RFPs to relationship banks and the proactive development and implementation of new processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency and contribute within the department. • Analysis and forecasting of cash requirements for the short and long term. Accountable for projecting future cash shortages and surpluses and the management thereof. Consolidate weekly Treasury cash forecast including variance analysis. • Evaluation of counterparty risk, including establishment of risk reporting and proposals to reduce cash investment risk. • Financial Statement preparation and regulatory filings associated with pension, defined contributions and other retiree benefits. • SOX and Treasury Policies – oversee and coordinate the SOX process for the Treasury department and liaise with the internal SOX team and third party auditors. Oversee and coordinate policy changes. • Management of Pitney Bowes’s netting process, including execution of foreign currency spot contracts. • Implementation of Treasury Management System (SAP), including analysis of best practices, establishment of new procedures and configuration of system based on specific requirements. • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.


• BA or MBA in Finance, Economics or Accounting • 7 years of Treasury or related experience

We seek candidates with demonstrable academic and professional achievement. A thorough understanding of Global Cash Management, financial theory and practice is required.

Candidates must possess strong communication skills, perform well in dynamic business environments and be comfortable working independently as well as within a group environment.

The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership and strong project management skills. The person should be comfortable with rigorous analytical modeling and have a strong foundation in Finance/Treasury. Attention to details and ability to adapt to change, multi-task, push projects to completion, perform under pressure and work in a matrixed environment and across cross functional finance teams are critical and necessary for success in this role.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word are required; proficiency in SAP and on-line banking systems a must.
