Our Global Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract the most competitive talent both internally and externally to ensure Pitney Bowe’s continued success.

The Talent Advisor will manage full life cycle recruitment efforts for requisitions within the SMB business with a particular focus on our field services organisation. The Talent Advisor will assist in building, strengthening, and expanding key businesses by attracting talent. He/she will ensure the ongoing and future organizational talent demands are met while ensuring employment policies and practices are compatible with all federal and state employment laws.

Reporting to the Director, Global Talent Acquisition this position will be based from our Spokane facility with the opportunity to work from home.

ROLE:

Business Strategy:

  • Identify how changes in business strategy impact talent planning needs

  • Help hiring managers make trade-offs between quality and speed

  • Inform hiring managers what skills or characteristics matter most when they evaluate candidates

Relationship Management:

  • Ensure hiring managers prioritize position requirements based on business need

  • Outline the talent and business risks of hiring specific candidates

  • Challenge hiring managers about talent assumptions

Outside in Thinking:

  • Educate hiring managers on trends in the labor market

  • Use competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors

  • Understand the availability of talent across critical talent segments

Sourcing/ Pipelining:

  • Know the best sourcing channels and messages to reach different candidate segments

  • Proactively cold call passive candidates

  • Identify the top-performing employees at talent competitors

Business Acumen:

  • Have a deep understanding of strategic business priorities and how the organization makes money

  • Communicate in the “language” of the business

  • Make recommendations based on how positions create value to the business

Analytical Rigor:

  • Meet quarterly goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, candidate pipelines, and required applicant tracking updates

  • 6 years’ previous experience in recruiting. Prior experience recruiting all levels of talent across a range of functions as a corporate in-house recruiter or in an RPO model is required. Recruitment agency or international recruitment experience is an asset.

  • 3 years’ experience in recruiting for B2B sales and/or service engineers/ technicians

  • Extensive experience in direct sourcing, candidate assessment, as well as recruiting principles, theories and concepts.

  • Previous direct sourcing knowledge and use of tools in addition to LinkedIn is required. AIRS certification is an asset.

  • Must be ethical, have high integrity, and be passionate about attracting top talent.

  • Extensive knowledge of at least one applicant tracking system and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

  • High standards, continuously raising the bar, delivering with a sense of urgency; operating with a strong customer satisfaction approach.

  • A demonstrated track record as an effective networker and closer.

  • A self-starter who can act as a strong individual contributor, operating effectively in a matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws.
