In the Inside Sales L&D Program Specialist role at Pitney Bowes, you will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our inside sales team through managing learning programs and instructing in sales and product training that help sellers become more confident and proficient. You thrive on partnering with business leaders to identify development opportunities and gaps and translate that into learning programs as part of our sales learning and development team. In this role, you’ll join Pitney Bowes SMB Business and will report to the L&D Manager for Inside Sales, working with the NA Inside Sales leadership team, sales operations, product management, and marketing and the broader HR community. You will be responsible for:
Working with • Learning program management and delivery of solution sales training • Developing and implementing training for new product and sales support tools (SFDC) • Customize training materials and tailor delivery techniques for varying sales audiences and needs. • Facilitate virtual discussions with new hire Sales Reps across multiple locations and act as Success Partner. • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create the appropriate content and context for learning. • Analyze content, target audience, job tasks and learner environments to make appropriate decisions on training approaches. • Monitoring and managing the connection between sales training and business outcomes.
•Adult Learning Theory and Practice. Ability to apply adult learning concepts in ways that learners will find motivating. • Facilitation Expertise & Platform Skills. Expert-level facilitation and presentation/platform skills and ability to create a safe learning environment. • Ability to deliver effective training utilizing a learner-focused approach. (Certified program facilitation is a plus) • Training Coordination. Experience in executing requirements for delivering successful and effective Instructor-led and Virtual Classroom Training courses. 3 years of demonstrated success in coordinating learning programs in a corporate or education environment • Human Performance Consulting. Ability to analyze performance problems to isolate root causes and identify solutions. • Development Expertise. Experience developing and customizing leaders’ guides and participant materials to meet target audience needs. • Measurement Expertise. Working knowledge of industry-standard learning and development metrics, processes, methodologies and tools • Presentation Expertise. Experience planning organizing and delivering critical messages in a group setting. • System Thinking Expertise. Viewing the organization as a system, recognizing that the success of the whole is dependent of the integration, understanding, and the inclusion of all segments; considering the “big picture. • Effective Team Expertise. Extensive knowledge, skill, and experience in creating and empowering a highly effective team environment. • Education/Experience: Business/College Degree or equivalent experience required
