Impact

As a Call Handler you will be responsible for providing a call handling service to clients by identifying clients’ reason to contact, advising and then directing the call to the correct department while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.

The Job

  • Take telephone callsfrom clients

  • Accurately identifyclients’ needs and provide an explanation to next steps, advising on any furtherhold times or key information that the client may need

  • Maintaining aprofessional attitude at all time

  • Identify calls in needof immediate assistance and escalate to a department manager where appropriate

  • Divert calls tocorrect department, providing information where required

Qualifications

  • 2 years call handlingexperience

  • Excellent interpersonalskills

  • Excellent listening skills

  • Computer literate andadaptable in using different software

  • Present a calm andconfident telephone manner and the ability to handle clients of whom may beangry or in distress
