In this role, you’ll join our Sales Compensation team in Shelton, CT and report to the Sales Compensation Manager, North America. You will be responsible for:
Translate compensation requirements from SalesOps into automated solutions;
Design, plan and create compensation plans andreports in the ICM (Varicent) system;
Work closely with Sales Ops on compensation plancreation and modification;
Define and resolve, technical and processsolutions within ICM (Varicent) system as needed;
Assist in the implementation of the yearlycompensation plan updates;
Participate in special projects regarding yearlyplans, reporting, functionality, etc;
Manage annual compensation plan distribution,sign-off and statistic tracking;
Ensure all technical documentation is translatedinto usable, documented daily tasks;
Develop functional specifications, whererequired, for system enhancements and/or data requests from IT;
Working closely with IT to ensure data receivedis accurate, timely and in line with project plans;
Fully test all end to end solutions, includingcalculation, for accuracy prior to release to production;
Work closely with the EMEA Commissions Team toensure accurate and standardized processes;
Implement process improvements in terms ofautomation and control
Minimum of three years of professionalexperience in sales compensation;
Proficient with ICM (Varicent) system orcomparable systems;
Advanced knowledge of programming to maintain,build and change compensation plans in the ICM (Varicent) system or comparablesystems;
Report and Statement design, creation andtroubleshooting in the ICM (Varicent) system or comparable systems;
Experience managing sales compensationprocesses, processing and reviewing calculations;
Test plan creation and unit testing;
Strong critical thinking skills demonstrated bythe ability to consistently develop logical approaches to solving problems;
Technical documentation creation;
Project management skills;
Solid understanding of business issues andanalytical skills to monitor trends in compensation and highlight anyissues/risks to management;
