About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a dynamic Retail Shipping Operations Manager to help drive and support growth initiatives for our rapidly growing list of top ecommerce & retail shipping technology partners and shippers based in North America. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a contribution by increasing the overall performance and client satisfaction of a fast-growing ecommerce partner and retail shipping base.
This position will report to the Director of Partner Operations and will have responsibility for identifying opportunities to grow revenue, analyzing program and performance effectiveness, support retention and growth activities for our partner development and retail shipping team, provide operational initiatives and insights, and identifying high growth opportunities. You will provide daily operational support to the Partner Management & Retail Shipping Sales team in North America.
Key skills for the job will include strong analytical skills, extensive knowledge of logistics and international shipping, knowledge of product management and product rollout processes, the aptitude to learn multiple functions/processes quickly, and good organization and communication skills.
This position will also interact with the Partner Development & Retail Shipping Team and Operations teams to help streamline processes, brainstorm and develop revenue generating ideas and programs, and implement new features and products. This position will also provide operational support to North American based Sales personnel with respect to new business, presales support, implementation, and post live support case management focused.

Grow * Be the voice of the customer & a team player * Provide ad hoc operational support to the Partner Development & Retail Shipping team on a daily basis * Assist the Retail Shipping organization by creating a triage for operational issues affecting client performance * Plays critical role in implementing case management system and connectivity to Salesforce * Help manage the testing and implementation processes for new product and feature launches * Build both data-driven and operational focused collateral to pitch successful programs and products to our clients * Support KPI definition and reporting to internal/external users * Work closely with Logistics, Distribution and Customs Compliance teams to help optimize operational offerings to our merchant partners * Assist with the development of new products to ensure that they are developed in line with the needs of our clients * Drive efforts to improve cross-function customer satisfaction scores * Develop strong understanding of company processes, procedures, and areas to improve – ultimately be perceived as Retail Shipping Operations SME * Up to 30% travel
Qualifications * B.S. degree in Business, Communications, Management or similar * 4 years work experience in retail, ecommerce, operations and logistics, technology or project management * Familiarity/Comfort working remotely for HQ in the USA. * Experience working in “mature startup” environment with some foundation in policies in procedures but continues to evolve due to business growth and product expansion * General understanding of retail shipping and logistics strategies * General understanding of import, export and customs processes * Possesses a high level of initiative * Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well * Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction and an inherent sense of when escalation is appropriate * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong analytical, assessment and problem-solving skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong time-management and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
