The Field Sales Carrier Management Solutions Sales Executive is responsible for achieving assigned sales quota for Carrier Solutions sales within their assigned area of responsibility. Using a portfolio approach, the Carrier Specialist will accomplish this by working with clients and prospects to identify, sell and close Carrier solutions independently. The role will be a pivotal point of contact for managing the Carrier Solutions sales portfolio in their assigned area and will be the primary point of contact for information, pipeline management, sales implementation of specialized lead management and marketing programs, and feedback to the line of business. This position can be based out of anywhere in the North East.
Manage an assigned client and prospect base to identify Carrier solutions needs for individual clients.
Prepare complete and comprehensive client proposals for identified solutions, including but not limited to workflows, ROI, value proposition and solution demonstrations with clients.
Evaluate current market situations and opportunities based on traditional competitive intelligence and field intelligence to identify ways to improve client selling by identifying competitor gaps, recommendations on changes to selling approaches or product presentation, changes in ROI and value driver choices, etc.
Master knowledge Carrier Solutions, value drivers, key messages and work directly with clients in developing sales opportunities.
Support sales pipeline and deal reviews and provide qualitative input on improvements to the management team
Build subject matter expertise through training and certification to ensure relevance and credibility within the market generally, and specifically with clients and internal stakeholders.
Minimum of 7 years of experience selling enterprise application software solutions (Direct or Indirect) or in developing and bringing software product to market (Product Management, Product Marketing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in carrier solutions, preferably involved in desktop shipping, as well as order management
Bachelor's degree business or similar
Demonstrated familiarity with carrier concepts, practices, and procedures, especially related to commerce, and value chain processes,
Demonstrated knowledge and thought leadership in market strategies related to aligning competitive situations, market situations, and products to create compelling selling opportunities with at least 3 years of active experience
Knowledge of sales and marketing business processes, especially related to pipeline and deal review approaches in enterprise software.
Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to operate in a matrix environment including leading cross functional teams, exerting leadership and influence in non-traditional environments, and managing through conflict
Travel required will vary based on location and assignments and could be up to or over 50%
