Sales Director - Global Ecommerce
About the Opportunity We are currently seeking a seasoned and passionateSales Director, Global e-Commerceto sell ecommerce solutions to executives and various domain stakeholders at leading U.S. ecommerce brands. In this role you will be responsible for fostering brand, product and company thought leadership within the retail community, and selling ecommerce solutions to retail executives across functional domains.
Build. Deploy. Bridge. Grow. * Managing full sales process lifecycle, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities, understanding account requirements, conveying and demonstrating product capabilities, facilitating and owning deep dive product capability Q&A sessions, managing objections, and negotiating contracts * Establishing new revenue streams; defending and growing existing revenue streams * Building relationships with known decision-making executive contacts at leading U.S. Ecommerce brands * Proactively prospecting for new decision-making executive contacts at key prospect targets and diversifying prospect relationships with contacts at multiple levels * Promoting company image, product and thought leadership * Maintaining expertise on all aspects of our ecommerce solutions, and from the perspective of any domain: ecommerce, back office, logistics, finance/treasury, legal, compliance, marketing and merchandising * Maintaining expertise on all competitive products and services * Contributing to market strategy by monitoring market data, competitive products and prospect feedback * Conveying product feature requests from prospects to Product Management team * Accurately forecasting demand, client launches and revenue
Qualifications * 8 to 10 years of proven sales experience selling to ecommerce brands * Strong technology understanding; ability to internalize and convey any technical concept to a technical audience * A proven track record of success, meeting and exceeding sales quotas * Knowledge of general sales discipline and methodology * Ability to develop a profitable and diverse book of business through lead generation, personal referral, networking, client retention and hard work * Ability to identify realistic opportunities and qualify leads * Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships * Financial services or payments experience helpful * Knowledge of banking products, online payment vehicles and credit card processing is helpful * Expert with all Microsoft Office applications and/or iWork applications * Expert with salesforce.com * Expert oral and written communicator * Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude * Sharp, energetic, assertive and results-oriented
