About the Opportunity
In this role, you'll join our Small/Medium Business (SMB) Solutions team and report to the Supervisor. The Technical & Billing Support Agent is responsible for providing direct client support via inbound phone, chat and e-mail. This person will serve our client base by educating clients on all our services by explaining features, advantages and benefits. Our clients will require your assistance with setting up initial account, advice on how to use the service, and resolve billing & technical issues. Excellent oral/written communication and problem solving skills via phone, email, and chat.
Inbound phone experience dealing with PB internal and external customer base.
Proficient and effective use of all Microsoft office applications, internet, chat, & email.
Able to give clear, concise information both verbal and text
Understanding of pc upkeep, maintenance, usage and cloud-based computing
Courtesy, patience and analytical abilities are required to handle customer concerns.
Detail orientated and self-motivated
Knowledge of multiple web browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari
Technical knowledge of printer drivers and installation (preferably on network infrastructure is a plus)
Comprehension of multiple computing Operating Systems, such as Windows, Mac, and Android
Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7am -7pm M-F, with overtime when requested
Within our Small/Medium Business (SMB) Solutions team, we provide a full range of mailing equipment and postage meters, maintenance and support services and supplies that enable our clients to efficiently create mail and evidence postage. We segment our SMB Solutions business between our North America operations, comprising the U.S. and Canadian businesses, and our International operations. We are a leading provider of postage meters and have approximately one million meters installed.
